  • Dr. James A. Todd, associate professor and chairman of the Department of Politics, Philosophy, and Law, was featured on CBS12 on Georgia’s abortion ban.
  • Dr. Gregory Rummo, professor of Chemistry, was published in Minding the Campus with his article, “The Evolution of Intelligent Design Theory.
  • Ben DeVan, associate professor and chair of Ethics and Organizational Behavior published “Love is Universal: A.I., Angels, and Astrobiology at the Ends of Time and Space,” in Theology and Science 22:4, 662-667, DOI: 10.1080/14746700.2024.2399891.   • PBA welcomes two new positions to the Office of the Provost. As part of efforts to strengthen its academic structure, the Office of the Provost has hired John E. Simons, D.M.A. as vice provost for academic affairs and promoted Karen D. Pain, Ph.D. to assistant provost.
  • Dr. Fabio Aguiar Alves, associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, received the Rising Stars award from the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida. Read the full press release here.
