“Organizational Failures and The Promised Land Experience,” by Dr. Cora Barnhart, was recently published in Christian Business Review. The article describes how the Israelites’ experience from their initial entry into and eventual exit (exile) from the Promised Land provides a useful framework for studying decline in otherwise successful companies. The study offers helpful insights from the Promised Land experience and suggests how a repentance process could help mitigate strategic errors that contribute to organizational failures.
In November, Dr. Dana Strachan spoke on artificial intelligence as part of pharmacy education at the American Society of Pharmacy Law in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Austin Stevenson co-authored an article with colleagues from Oxford and London on the role of the humanities and social sciences in public health. He was also invited to present on his book, The Consciousness of the Historical Jesus, for a joint New Testament and Philosophical Theology senior seminar at the University of Oxford.

Dr. Elizabeth Stice had an essay published about AI, which looked at the perils it poses to relationships by drawing on nineteenth-century literature and the history of automatons.
