LeMieux Center to Host Fox’s “Judge Jeanine” Pirro

Judge Jeanine Pirro, a former judge who hosts “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on the Fox News Channel, is The LeMieux Center for Public Policy speaker on Wednesday, February 27. Her talk, “America Today: The Courts, The Media and Violence in Society,” takes place at 6 p.m. in the DeSantis Family Chapel at 300 Okeechobee Blvd. on the Palm Beach Atlantic University campus. Register for this free event here.

Judge Pirro is the host of the consistently highest-rated primetime weekend show, “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” Pirro also is a legal commentator, author, champion of victim’s rights and former district attorney and county judge.

She won a daytime Emmy for her daily syndicated court show “Judge Pirro.” As a nationally recognized legal expert Pirro appears on television programs such as “The Today Show ” on NBC, “Good Morning America” on ABC, “The Early show” on CBS, “60 Minutes,” “48 Hours,” “Nightline,” “Larry King Live,” “The View,” “The O’Reilly Factor,” and other national television shows. Pirro has been profiled in several magazines including the New Yorker, the New York Times Magazine, More Magazine, New York Magazine and was named as one of the world’s 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine.

Throughout her tenure with Fox News Channel, Pirro has covered breaking news, reporting live on the Aurora theater massacre shooting, the Casey Anthony trial in Orlando Florida, the Drew Peterson trial in Chicago, the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting and the George Zimmerman trial in Orlando.

Pirro is the author of four books: “To Punish and Protect: One DA’s Fight Against a System That Coddles Criminals,” “Sly Fox,” “Clever Fox” and her most recent book, which was the subject of the HBO documentary THE JINX, “”He Killed Them All: Robert Durst and My Quest for Justice.”

Born in the small upstate New York farming town of Elmira, Pirro graduated from Notre Dame High School in three years, earned a B.A. Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Buffalo, and received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Albany Law School, where she was an editor of the law review.
