The Gregory Center for Medical Missions will host Rebecca “Becky” McDonald, founder and president of Women At Risk, International, to give health care providers the tools to recognize and respond to human trafficking.

Women At Risk, International exists to create circles of protection and hope around those at risk through culturally sensitive, value-added intervention projects. The organization addresses a variety of risk issues and has worked in more than 50 countries, including the United States. Although Women At Risk, International primarily functions as an aftercare organization, it is heavily involved in advocacy.
McDonald, who has spent three decades in international work, is a highly sought-after speaker who travels the world sharing Women At Risk, International’s passion with universities, communities, law enforcement, legal and medical societies, embassies and foreign governments and Homeland Security.
The Gregory Center for Medical Missions exists to foster the effective engagement of health care professionals in meeting the spiritual needs of under-served communities, both locally and around the world, via their attention to the communities’ physical and emotional health needs.
Working collaboratively with strategic partners in Christ-first medical missions, the Center’s primary focus is on the profession of pharmacy – supporting awareness and implementation of best practices, providing pharmacy service-associated training and sending well-prepared mission teams into the field.
