Kara-Ann Valentine stands as a distinguished Physician Assistant and a revered educator in the PA domain, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront of healthcare education and patient care. Holding a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Barry University, Kara-Ann’s educational background lays a robust foundation in the realms of healthcare delivery and patient management. 

Licensed in the State of Florida and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2008, Kara-Ann’s professional journey is a testament to her dedication and prowess in her field. Her commitment to medical education shone through during her tenure at Keiser University’s PA program, where she played pivotal roles as a clinical coordinator and principal faculty member. Here, Kara-Ann’s influence extended to various facets of the educational spectrum, from student clinical placements to the development and implementation of clinical curricula, showcasing her multifaceted expertise. 

In 2019, Kara-Ann furthered her academic contributions as an Assistant Professor at Barry University’s PA program, where she continued to mold the next generation of physician assistants with her insightful lecturing, adept advising, and comprehensive student assessments. 

Parallel to her academic endeavors, Kara-Ann has maintained an active clinical practice, beginning her PA career in Nephrology with Manjit S. Gulati, M.D., F.A.S.N., and gaining diverse experience across Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pulmonary/Critical Care. This clinical versatility underscores her adaptability and depth of knowledge across various medical disciplines.
