Biography

Dr. Latif was raised in Dallas, TX and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida A&M University’s Pharmacy program. She graduated from FAMU’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, after which she completed her residency training at the Gregory School of Pharmacy (GSOP) and earned her teaching certification. Upon residency completion, she continued teaching at PBA as a clinical instructor of pharmacy practice. Dr. Latif helped develop an ambulatory care practice site for GSOP at the Caridad Center, continued teaching in GSOP’s didactic curriculum, and became a board certified pharmacist in ambulatory care. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and continues teaching and facilitating in Case Studies II and III, Endocrinologic and Muscoskeletal Pharmacotherapy, Intra-Professional Education and Development, and Literature Evaluation while practicing as an ambulatory care pharmacist and precepting 4th year APPE students for their ambulatory care rotations.
