Biography
As AWS Head of Channel Partners, Cliff Rittel leads the Consulting and Technology Partners. His team is responsible for ensuring we are three in a box with Customers, Partners and AWS sales teams, and enabling the connection of AWS to Channel Partners in their selling motions through consultative, vertical, ISV and Marketplace offerings. Cliff has been leading teams in the Channel globally for 28 years previously running Enterprise Sales at VMware, SoftwareONE, CDW and various California .com startups. His favorite Leadership Principles are Earns Trust and Bias for Action. He is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Florida, earned his MBA (Int’l Business Mmgt/Tech Innovation) at DUKE and BS (Entrepreneurship and minor in Int’l Business- German emphasis) in Business from the University of Southern California. He resides in Juno Beach Florida with his wife of 27 years, 4 children (3 in college- 2 at UF and 1 at Hillsdale College) and 3 dogs- Padme, Han Solo and Princess Leia. In his spare time, he has been able to maintain a 5 handicap in golf the past 25 years, run a non-Profit HCLF (initials of his kids), travel and enjoy the beach.
