Since assuming the role of Dean in 2020, I have been happy to steward our school across two major areas of business and societal impact: the promotion of ethically-based free enterprise and the integration of faith-based business practices into our communities. As someone who has dedicated my personal and professional career to these two important principles, I am enthusiastic about seeing them increasingly realized at the Rinker School of Business. For the 800-plus students, and thousands of alumni who have passed through our hallways since 1968, we continue to heartily reinforce these themes during times in which they are most needed.
Continuous development was a life principle for Mr. Rinker, and our school is committed to that example. Since 2017, we have added 20 new faculty members to our ranks. Over 90 percent of them are terminally degreed in their field of specialization, with impressive research backgrounds and diverse practical experience in industry and consulting. Related to quality standards, the Rinker School of Business achieved initial accreditation through AACSB in May 2023, making Palm Beach Atlantic University one of only ten CCCU (Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities) schools to have achieved the highest level of business school accreditation.
Strategically located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, we are in one of the nation’s fastest-growing business communities; particularly since the COVID-19 outbreak. Increasingly known as “Wall Street South,” Palm Beach County continues to attract exceptional business growth in one of America’s most beautiful waterfront cities. There has never been a better time to be in South Florida.
