Hurricane Milton Update
Due to the weather conditions, the events for the Hispanic Heritage have been postponed or canceled as follows:
- No events this week, the conference part is cancelled.
- Art exhibit will continue and will have a reception rescheduled for Thursday, October 24. (Melting Pot Exhibit)
- PBA Symphony will move repertoire and soloist to the already scheduled November 15 performance. (No concert on Friday Oct 11)
2024 PBA Hispanic Heritage Festival
The Palm Beach Atlantic University College of the Arts is pleased to announce the 15th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival to be held on October 10-12, 2024, in the Vera Lea Rinker Music and Fine Arts Building on our campus in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Festival celebrates the panoply of Hispanic artistic culture with music concerts, presentations of visual art, film and the theater arts. An important part of the festival is the academic conference that includes papers, lecture-recitals and performances, all relating to the subject of the arts of Hispanic world.
As we open the Festival conference to more of the artistic expressions of Hispanic culture, we welcome proposals involving all facets of the music, visual arts and theater of Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the diaspora.

A showing of the film In the Heights followed by discussion with Dr. Thomas Parham, Chair, Department of Visual and Media Arts and Sonia Santiago, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities.

Melting Pot Exhibit Opening Reception with guest Curator Eduardo Hernández de la Pava

A feature of the Hispanic Heritage Festival, this exhibition celebrates contemporary Hispanic artists from South Florida.

Join the PBA Symphony and Maestro Gregory Ritchey as the Symphony joins in the Hispanic Heritage Festival and presents music of Hispanic Heritage by composers such as Sarasate, De Falla and Granados.
