Titus Center for Franchising Advisory Board Attracts Patrick McGee, MPK Equity Partners

patrick mcgeePatrick Perot McGee of MPK Equity Partners in Texas has joined the Titus Center for Franchising Advisory Board at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. MPK Equity Partners is a Dallas-based private investment firm that invests in and acquires growing, profitable, category-leading companies. The company’s franchise investments include Unleased Brands, Stellar Service Brands, Radiance Holdings, PatchMaster, and Zoom Drain. There are 14 leading franchise brands within the portfolio.

The Advisory Board now includes 66 franchise executives representing 52 companies. Since 2017, when the Titus Center opened, the Advisory Board has been instrumental in advancing the center’s mission, which is to engage, educate and inspire current and future franchise leaders.

Dr. John P. Hayes, CFE, director of the Titus Center and Titus Chair for Franchise Leadership at PBA, said, “Patrick McGee comes to our board upon the recommendation of Gary Findley, a veteran member of our board and founder of Stellar Service Brands. We’re excited to include Patrick and we look forward to working with him to support new opportunities at Titus Center. We also appreciate his interest in mentoring our students.”

Since joining MPK Equity Partners, McGee has worked closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic priorities, financial analysis, and acquisitions. He’s jointly responsible for all aspects of deal-sourcing and transaction structuring. He also serves as a board member for Zoom Drain, PatchMaster, and The Cookshack.

McGee is a 2015 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he was Ingram Scholar.

Titus Center Advisory Board membership is open to franchise executives and companies that want to support franchise education. The board meets twice annually on the PBA campus.
