Hayes is a 40-year franchise veteran and one of few professionals to have been a franchisee, a franchisor and an advisor to franchise companies internationally. He has helped countless people invest in franchise opportunities through his popular seminars: The A to Zs of Buying a Franchise and Are You A Perfect Fit For Franchising?
In The A to Zs of Buying a Franchise, presented 10 a.m. Oct. 8, Hayes will show participants how to find and evaluate franchise opportunities. He explains that while franchising is one of the safest ways to open a business, it is not for everyone.
Hayes’ seminar, Are You A Perfect Fit For Franchising?, presented 11 a.m. Oct. 9., includes a free personality profile to help attendees determine their compatibility with franchises. “It’s important to select a franchise that you’ll like and one that you can afford, but you’ve also got to be a good fit for the franchise business,” Hayes explains.
At Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, Hayes leads the Titus Center for Franchising. The Titus Center launched in 2017, thanks to a generous donation from franchisor and United Franchise Group founder Ray Titus. To date, more than 30 students have graduated from the center. Several alumni are now franchise owners, and others are franchise employees. The center is the only one of its kind awarding a franchise concentration. Learn more at www.TitusCenter.com.
Prior to joining PBA, Hayes was the president and CEO of HomeVestors of America, Inc., the “We Buy Ugly Houses” franchise based in Dallas. He is the author of numerous franchise titles including Take the Fear Out of Franchising and 101 Questions to Ask Before Investing in a Franchise.
