Dr. Kevin Hassett, former advisor to President Trump and the 29th Chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, offers his valuable perspectives on combating the rising influence of socialism in America. Kevin Hassett is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution and served as Chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers from 2017 to 2019. Before his role in the Trump administration, he was an economist at the American Enterprise Institute and a senior economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He has also held academic positions, including associate professor of economics and finance at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and visiting professor at New York University’s Law School.
