The Integration Bee is an annual integral calculus competition pioneered in 1981 by Andy Bernoff, an applied mathematics student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (wikipedia). The integration Bee is a tradition of the MIT, and I would like to organize one here in PBA. Without using math jargon, we are going to see who solves math problems the quickest. The competition format will be (in case we have 8 competitors) direct elimination. If not, groups phase then direct elimination. Each encounter will have a total of 3 problems. They will have a limited amount of time to solve each. The one who solves the problem in the least amount of time gets the point. The participant who scores the most points passes to the next encounter. Please reach me out if a more detailed explanation is needed.
