31st Annual Alumni Golf Tournament

The 31st annual Palm Beach Atlantic University Alumni Association Golf Tournament held September 29 raised $52,700 for the Association’s Scholarship Fund, a record high for the tournament.

Alumni GolfNearly 176 golfers participated in the event held at PGA National Resort’s Squire and Fazio courses. The winning team on the Fazio course with a score of 54 consisted of AJ Calvin, Chris Knapp, Zach McElroy and Sammy Hadouri. On the Squire, the foursome with players Dan Cheek, Jacob Hensler, Justin Wood and Mike Anthony won with a score of 55.

To date, the tournament has raised an endowment of over $1.4 million and provided over 185 students with scholarships. The Alumni Association recently awarded 55 annual scholarships, which are renewable by undergraduates who remain in good standing at the University.

Tournament sponsors include BMS CAT, Tire Kingdom, Saxon Business Systems, Advanced Painting Contractors, Hill York, Templeton & Company, Arrigo Dodge • Chrysler • Jeep, Preferred Printing, PROforma PNP Marketing, Signs by Tomorrow and PGA National Resort and Spa.

The 32nd annual event is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2019.
