Biography

Dr. Jesse Adamski was born in Boynton Beach, Florida and grew up a few miles north in Lake Worth. After graduating from Lake Worth Christian High School, he attended Palm Beach Atlantic University for his undergraduate studies. During his junior year, he declared a double major in mathematics and secondary education. He earned a Master of Science in mathematics from Florida Atlantic University after writing his thesis, “Computing Automorphism Groups of Projective Planes,” under the supervision of Doctor Spyros Magliveras. He worked for a year as an adjunct at both Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach Atlantic University. In 2015, he entered the mathematics doctoral program at the University of Florida where he worked under his advisor, Doctor Calistus Ngonghala. His research involved modeling the interactions between infectious disease and economics in his dissertation, “A Metapopulation Framework for Integrating Infectious Disease and Economic Systems.”
