After a national search, Dr. Brian Strow was appointed dean of the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business. Strow comes from Western Kentucky University, where he served as the BB&T professor for the study of capitalism and director of the WKU Center for the Study of Capitalism.
During his 21 years at WKU, Strow served as the president of the Kentucky Economic Association, was a member of the Board of Scholars for the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions and was elected to two terms as a city commissioner in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He served as an economic advisor to multiple national and statewide elected officials.
Provost Dr. Randy Richards praised Strow for his wealth of experience and scholarship. Said Richards: “His focus on American free enterprise, scholarly excellence and deep Christian faith made him the ideal choice to lead PBA’s call to train the next generation of Christian business leaders.”
Strow earned his doctorate and Master of Arts degrees in economics from Vanderbilt University. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics and political science from Wheaton College (Illinois). Strow served as consulting dean in the fall while he finished his responsibilities at WKU. He arrived at Palm Beach Atlantic in January.
