Biography
Dr. Strow begins his service as dean following a twenty-one-year career teaching economics at Western Kentucky University where he most recently served as the WKU BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism and Director of the WKU BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism. Dr. Strow has published multiple peer-reviewed articles, a book, think tank studies and articles for the popular press in the areas of macroeconomics, labor economics, economic history, economic education, and morality and public policy. He has frequently been featured in print, radio, and TV media.
Dr. Strow has served as an economic advisor to multiple elected officials including a sitting US Senator and a former US Speaker of the House of Representatives. He has served as an elected Bowling Green, KY City Commissioner and is a former President of the Kentucky Economic Association. In addition, Dr. Strow has led study-abroad programs to five continents.
