In 2010, PBA alum and faculty recognized the need for a children’s theatre with high artistic standards that championed the importance of family and ultimately served God was needed in Palm Beach County and the beginning of PBA Children’s Theatre was formed. This theatre program equips children to use their gifts and talents to glorify God through theatre arts. Creation of imaginative and purposeful theatre with a focus on redemptive storytelling reinforces missions of not only the university’s theatre program but the university as well. The rigorous artistic environment of theatre-making grows all involved in areas of intellect, spirituality, leadership and personal character. PBA Children’s Theatre is unique to Palm Beach County by offering American university resources and a mission of using theatre arts to glorify God.

Production Class
Our Musical Theatre production classes focus on learning all the elements required to put on a show. Students will be immersed in performance technique and theatre appreciation culminating in a fully-produced production at PBA’s Fern Street Theatre.
2024 Fall Production Class: Home On The Mornin’ Train

SummerStage
Our two-week SummerStage is for theatre fans completing grades K through 8. Students will learn about performance techniques, movement, vocal and improvisational games that explore the fundamentals of theatre while rehearsing for a show under the direction of professional teaching artists. At the end of the second week, young actors will share their performance for family and friends on the Fern Street stage.
