The focus of this concentration aims at providing students with the knowledge and skills essential for fruitful ministry in the local church primarily in two major areas:

- the development, nurture, and care of people
While many students completing this major will pursue graduate or seminary education, many may utilize their training upon graduation to serve in various capacities on the staff of a church.
